Awesome scenery in there. I've been into cathedral lake. Had the place to ourselves and caught plenty of fish.

How old are your kids and how far did you go? I have a 4 yr old that I would love to take in the back country.

It is on my list to take my kids. I can never get enough of that country!!!

I have fond memories of that place. No location like it in the world. Thanks for sharing some great pictures!! Cant wait to take my kids in for some fishing.

The fishing was marginal but worth hauling the gear. We hiked 10 miles the first day and the kids weathered the hike better than anyone else.

Kids were between 7 and 15, they all did really well. My 11 yo wants to make the trip a yearly tradition, so we planned it again in August.

My 11, 9, and 8 year olds are goin this year. My 7 year old wants to go but one newbie at a time, she can come next year.
