Out on the Vernon (Utah) Unit there even "walk-abouts" Camping all over. These are groups of troubled youth with leaders trying to fix them for their pathetic, rich parents. They camp 365 days a year and really affect the watershed, wildlife and private landowners who wonder how "Troubled" the kids are? Utah is growing like crazy and with that comes more folks in the hills. Throw in coyote, chuckar, shed hunters and general recreators(Not sure if that is a word) and it means PRESSURE on all game and non-game critters. And Utah issues more permits, spread out over longer seasons almost yearly. Sooner or later the resource WILL suffer. But who cares as long as everyone can draw every year on every unit! And the DWR keeps selling tags. Wonder when the resource (Fancy word for game animals)will crash and burn?
