Going Hairless...

I've seen and harvested many animals in my hunting life but I have never seen this before. The buck I harvested this year we were surprised to find his lower region hairless. Anybody else seen this before? What are your thoughts on what may have caused this. Serious question but lets have the jokes as well.....
