As far as fights go, that first clip was pretty entertaining. Seems there should be a easier way short of shooting them, maybe one of those nets they use to catch turkeys.
The cowboy got swarmed and i kept wondering where all the Cops kept coming from. Great job of getting the guy but they got a bit carried away, imo, in getting the guy to stop resisting. That kick to the, "Boys", would have done me in all by itself!

Pretty sure that won't be the last run-in with the law from that family...
Two of my uncles were cops plus a number of my cousins too. One of my dad's brothers was a small town police chief in the Deep South and he would have fit right in with the stolen horse posse. On the job he was a Plick but off the job he was easy going so much in fact I named my son after him.

I watched it a couple times and decided there were a bunch of idiots running around and the cops had their hands pretty full.
It looked to me, also, that the cops showed great restraint.
I'm glad I'm not a cop because it looked like there were several cases where they would have been justified to mow them all down.

Homer if that horse thief had been black. Obama would have already made comments about it, Eric Holder would be on scene with his federal investigators to start federal charges under the color of law, and Al Sharpton would be whipping up the blacks for another race riot. That along with national air time for a least a week or two.
