So I guess this is what you do when you get one of these tags. I am amazed at this. If this is for real, I would assume this was a raffle tag and can't believe that you would do this with the tag. Either way, his/her choice I guess.

I have a friend that goes to Africa Annually and I am impressed at what he spends to go. A lot better pricing than I wold have expected.

I agree that it may be wise to sell it and take a trophy hunt or two and pocket the rest.

Now for a technical question..... If you won this tag, would you be taxed for the value of the carcass tag alone?? My guess is yes, since it is just a tag with an extended season. Not that I would be overly concerned about it, just a curiosity question really.

Then if you sold it for that amount, there would definitely be taxes involved, correct?
