Hunter eduation point

Does anyone know if I can apply my California hunter education class to Arizona for the permanent bonus point?

All that gets you is the opportunity to travel to AZ to take the class.

You cannot. You are able to take the one day AZ hunter safety update class to get the point, but you will not get a point with only a California class.

Thanks everyone...I saw the post by DonMartin regarding the class which made me think about my California ED card. I took the class 20 years ago and moved to Arizona 15 years ago so I never had the need to take the class since AZ does not require it to hunt. Looks like I can take the one day class though....wonder what they will cover that the communistic state of CA does not?

Don't feel too bad. I once was a volunteer HE instructor in both AZ and Colorado for a period of 10 years. I would still need to take a class in AZ in order to get the point because it's not retroactive to the time I had taken my classes. x( -TONY
