Idaho Elk draw

I'm headed to Unit 51 for the early elk hunt! If anyone has any info or suggestions, I would appreciate hearing from you.

The little Lost R. drainage is a fine elk unit. The northern end is adjacent to unit 29 which is a notable unit. Early they'll be bugling so you'll have an advantage on locating them. Hunt relatively high but realize 40% of the elk use the "green fields" at night and bed in the first timbered draw for the day. So hunt low as well. Hunt the northern 60% of the unit. Good Luck
