LAST EDITED ON Aug-22-16 AT 09:54PM (MST)[p]I came across this carcass when out hunting this morning. I've called it in to the DWR so they can meet me, and hopefully I can eventually take possession of the rack.
There was both halves of an arrow laying amid the bones. Pretty nasty country where I found it, so I understand how difficult it would be to blood trail in this stuff. Still, I'm sure the unlucky hunter has visions of the one that got away. Always sorry to see that not every animal is recovered, but we must all except it happens at least on occasion.
I am posting this just so others can see the quality of bull running around (at least last year) on a public land limited entry unit in Utah. I haven't put a tape on it, but believe it will score very well.
