The ol' Green Mountain acted up on me last night halfway through grilling a couple of pieces of Antelope backstrap.......
So, I had to call a quick audible and finish em off in Granny's ol' cast iron pan on the stove in butter, garlic and rosemary.
Red wine, salad, fresh rolls and some leftover Polenta from our Polenta and Elk Stew on Saturday night.
Every once in a while, despite Mr. Murphy's best efforts, a guy just cannot lose!

Looks delicious. You know, the best thing about antelope is the myth that it tastes terrible………

Lots of hunters don’t even hunt them because you can’t eat them. Leave more tags and back straps for the rest of us, “pretenders”. ??
