Mt Dutton Archery Deer

Thought I would try something new this year and hunt the Dutton region for archery MD. Anyone willing to share some insight on the unit, never stepped foot in it. Planning to arrive a few days before the opener to scout but other than than will be going in blind.

I hunted it for elk a few years ago. I saw very few deer on the north end (Table Mountain area and bull rush)
The couple of bucks I did see were huge and were being chased by a couple dedicated hunter guys. They reported the same deer situation as I qas seeing. They said the unit was being managed more for elk. Take that for what its worth. I never hunted near agg fields or the south end so I may lead you astray.
