I understand that I can still buy a deer point even though the draw deadline has passed. Can anyone shed some light on this? Thanks in advance for your time........

the point only period will start in July and go into Sept. I think. If you failed to get in the regular drawing you can definitly buy points.

Like grsage said, 7/1 through 9/30. $50 for elk, $40 for deer and $30 for antelope. I'd be guessing on sheep and moose but $100 and $75 respectively sounds about right. Those are NR prices.

Caelkslayer is correct on the prices for NR preference points purchased July - September. Good luck on your hunts. The worst day of hunting is better than the best day at work! Wyoming hunting is special. I would rather hunt the worst leftover tag available than not hunt at all. Hunting is what you make out of it. Good luck!
