scopes legal in utah

Scopes are "LEGAL"during Muz Only hunts,but ONLY 1X magnification.As for Inlines and Components,BEST check ---

your OK with the inlines, and as long as scopes are non-magnifying - this is from the proclamation:

can be loaded only from the muzzle;

has open sights, peep sights, or a fixed non-magnifying 1x scope;

has a single barrel;

has a minimum barrel length of 18 inches;

is capable of being fired only once without reloading;

powder and bullet, or powder, sabot and bullet are not bonded together as one unit for loading; and

is loaded with black powder or black powder substitute, which must not contain nitrocellulose based smokeless powder.

A lead or expanding bullet or projectile of at least 40 caliber must be used to hunt big game.

A 170 grain or heavier bullet, including sabots, must be used for taking deer and pronghorn.

A 210 grain or heavier bullet must be used for taking elk, moose, bison, bighorn sheep and Rocky Mountain goat, except sabot bullets used for taking these species must be a minimum of 240 grains.

A lot a people like the the red dot sytles but they must be 1X, no magnification. Personally, I like open sites, over a 1X scope.

Otherwise the proclamation is pretty clear - Can't use smokeless powder, can only be a single shoot, and must be loaded from the barrel. Otherwise it's legal.
