I would never poach. I just have too much to loose at this juncture of my life. I would vote for a shoot on sight law for cougar.
And will gladly give advise to a cougar or wolf poacher. As I view wolf and cougar as 24/7/365 poachers of the game I pay the F&G and DWR to manage for me.

One of them had Horns,I came back by 10 minutes later & I guarantee they are serving Fresh Venison at Ft. Myton,probably got the new Rack above the Entrance Door!
At least we eat Fresh Meat in Myton!

If you have a tag by all means shoot away. If not dont shoot. The facts I read about lions is they prefer fresh meat and a muture tom kills a deer a day. That is what I read not sure if it is correct. I bet yotes kill more though.
