If America were in the same position, that is, invaded by a much larger, much more powerful military, and the American citizens didn’t believe they were going to get invaded, and were still going about business as usual, the day before the invasion………. where would they flee to?
North America isn’t Europe. There’s only two alternatives on our borders and neither have the resources nor the weapons to stop an invasion from Cuba.
So, if you going to flee, ya better get going now……… because if you think going to Canada or Mexico is going to protect you, you’re going to be sadly mistaken. Neither country could or would last a week, if the US is invaded. If the US is ever invaded by a military, with the intent to conquer, Canada and Mexico will most likely already be over run.
In WWII there was no where flee to, for the Europeans, the only reason the Ukrainian’s can flee today is the rest of Europe is still open to flee to. How many years will that remain an option.
It was a stupid, politically motivated question and should probably have been a pole that asked how many would fight on the side of the invading army, against their own people, if the US was invaded? That would be a really interesting pole number to see because it’s a more a realistic one to contemplate.
