Unit 121 deer herd status?

Hi all, just wondering if anyone has recent intel on the status of the deer herd in Unit 121? I picked up the early archery tag and was curious if this is going to be a situation like Area 13 from a few years ago where the only thing I saw were a handful of does and mosquitos the entire time.

That could be the case with any unit. I haven’t been to this area for years but looking at the map there was a 32,000 acre burn in 2018. Used to be some areas of juniper that were burned and would be good for glassing

I hunted muzzleloader Elk in 121 last, it was late September.
We saw some Deer and a few decent Bucks but definitely more Elk then Deer.

Looking at data it's doing REALLY well. They were going to triple tags this year and then rolled it back at the commission meeting. You got a really good tag methinks.

I've been in 121 chasing elk quite a few times. I've seen a lot of deer in 121 across the unit. You will have a fun hunt.
