Unit 16 Deer ,realistic goal.

Has anyone hunted 16 for deer, and what would be a realistic goal? My buddy has a muzzleloader tag for the end of October. Is a 170 buck on DIY realistic?

IMO It's a Vegas tag if you just show up in 16 and want to take a 170 buck. The more you scout the better your odds.

He may end up looking at going guided as an option. We have had friends that hunted 16D. They reported a few good bucks, but few and far between. Thanks for the input. JB
