Unit 18

So I drew a 4th season deer tag on unit 18, 28, 37, 371. I have narrowed my choice down to concentrating on unit 18. I have spent a lot of time looking at maps and google earth. I have a pretty good idea the area I want to be in so I am not looking for specific areas to hunt just maybe some access questions and also maybe what to expect to see as far as numbers. I understand that they close some roads in there due to snow... If you have any information that would be great. Thanks!!

We're due for an early heavy snow. If that happens, most of the deer will head for lower,private ground. I'll be up there next month, I'll let u know what I see.

We muzzleloader hunted the Wheatley Creek drainage a couple years ago and did not see hardly any deer and just a handful of elk .Hope you have better luck.
