Hey guys. I ended up going with the ED50. I called Nikon looking to trade my 13x30 for a 13 x40 eyepiece and turns out they quit making it. So, I'm looking for that eyepiece and would greatly appreciate any gidance as to where i may track one down. Thanks a bunch.

Excuse me Toughshed????? There is no deception from anyone on this thread that I can see. I think just a simple type-O. There is no shed season east of the divide. At least not yet. As mentioned above, when they do adopt a season it will only keep the honest folks from goin.
Went on a long brutal, but very rewarding hike yesterday. First two are a matched 7x7 about a 1/4 mile apart. First time ever finding one with points sticking in ground.
Later glassed this out. Quite surprised to find another sticking in the ground. Really good six. If you look straight above...

haha..I cant afford both. Would really like to know which is the better spotter for my style of hunting. Yes i do cover some miles hiking from hilltop to hilltop in northcentral wyoming. But also glass fairly long distances at muleys. I'm leaning towards the viper but would like more opinions...
Ok folks, I cant make a decision so please help based on your expierences. I spend alot of time behind a spotter while mule deer hunting in fairly open country. I may watch a deer close to a mile away and scrutinze him deciding whether to make a stalk or not. I'm really torn between these two...
Wow!! What a joke..Same ole story I guess. A guy starts a simple honest thread and there always has to be a douche bag or two filled with arogance. Makes you wonder what their really like behind that screen.
Where I'm at the bigger bulls are starting to rub. Saw couple rags with some cows last...
