Yes...I've never had any luck getting permission by knocking on doors. Lots of the better land is leased to outfitters and they aren't interested in sharing :)

Congrats...He's a nice bull...nothing to be ashamed of there. He may not make the Primos "Truth" series, but I'd be darn happy to shoot him. It's been about 7 years of bowhunting for me and I've yet to connect...hoping this year will be my year.

My experience is that highs during the day can range from the 60s and 70s and into the 80s at the lower elevations. Of course, it can all change when the clouds roll in. Hope that helps.
