Hawk. The bulls are shutting down early. I'm hunting the Wasatch Waters area. Seeing 5 - 8 bulls a day in the 300 range. Maybe one or two little larger. Tough for most we talked to.

While in Wyoming this year I had a Wyoming resident back up to my truck and unload all my gear into his truck. I was parked on the side of a gravel road out of Afton when I walked up to him. He acted as if he was confused and loaded it back into my truck. I hate people that steal!

My program shows that at 1000 yards, the elevation difference,(3500 to 7000 feet) gives you 15 inches of drop difference. I am new to long range hunting also, so I would also like to know if i'm right or wrong! Kevin

Wouldn't zeroing in at 500 yards put him 15 or so inches high at 300 yards? This could be a problem. Let me know if I am thinking right :) Kevin

30 inch, just some FYI , the company I work for unloaded 3 ships of Natural gas this year. It's done in the Gulf of Mexico, off the Louisiana coast. It can be done but there is also a high price to pay, money and enviroment issues. I guess time will tell if it becomes common practice. Kevin

I had a 95 yj, It has a NP-231 transfer case, it does not have a true neutral, a chain drive inside the TC connecting the front and rear shafts which makes it always turning when rear wheels are turning. I did what everyone always says" you can pull any Jeep" well I did pull it 1500 miles and...

Jason, If you are towing a jeep with a dolly or 4 wheels on the ground make sure your transfer case is able to do it. Some jeeps do not have the true neutral on the transfer case. It will damage the TC if it is not a true neutral. I found out the hard way. Kevin

Hawkeye, You may want to check on the laws for spotlighting deer during the night. ( if you don't already ) Many people were doing this the year I was there, locating deer for the next morning hunt. I didn't know it was even legal until my hunt was over. It may help you. Just FYI.
