I'm looking for a gunsmith preferably on the south end of the Salt Lake valley that can do a muzzle brake on my 338 win and fix the crown of the muzzle on one of my other rifles, does anyone have someone they can recommend? I know it will be short notice, but if possible I'm looking for someone...

It has always blown me away people pull that kind of crap. I shot my first deer a small 3x3, about 10 years ago at 475 yards, across a small canyon, he dropped dead where he stood. I was about 130 yards away when I came out of some trees just to watch 3 guys throw him in the back of their UTV...

Ya from my experience, when the cows that didn't get bred up go back into heat that is the smaller bulls, i.e. spikes and rag horns time to shine.

What county was this in? Depending on the county you may not even go in front of a judge, but rather go straight to a meeting with the counties attorney. I had a situation once where I had been camping in the spring and of course had taken my pistol with me, I stopped went into the grocery store...

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I'm a fairly new member. RELH do you sell these knives? Please let me know I'm looking to get a new knife and one that can handle 2 elk without sharpening is impressive!

I will be using it for elk. I was really interested in the SST's, but read that people had some problems with them, but I think that is what I will go with.

In my experience if you get close to the sow she will chase her cubs up a tree, and start huffing and puffing to warn you, but that being said be prepared for anything if you surprise her she could do anything, so be prepared other wise chance are she and the others will avoid you.

My brother just got an Xbolt chambered in the 270WSM, he wants me load him up some bullets for the elk hunt this year. Does anyone have some good 270 WSM recipes for elk they can recommend.
