You're confusing anecdotal evidence with fact.

I used to have that same Vortex spotter you are looking at but upgraded to the Swaro ATX this year. I am glad I did and can definitely see the difference, but it most assuredly is a big price to pay for a relatively small gain in performance.

I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that you're probably in the vast minority on having zippers down the leg. It's awfully nice to be able to slip them on over your boots quickly in a treestand or anywhere else in the field for that matter

I've only got the 90% and given the chance to do it again, I'd get the 90% again. Very water resistant, extremely breathable, and very well designed.
