I was hunting in the LaSal Mountains near Moab Sept. 27 and lost a CVA muzzleloader off the tailgate of my truck near Hidden Lake. If anyone happened to pick it up, I'd love to have it back. I can provide an exact description.
Kevlar gloves are very affordable. My dad is a woodcarver and uses them all the time.

I did mine in 2012 after an elk hunt where I simply could not move well enough to chase the elk. The new knee is great. I can do a lot more hiking now and the knee is not an issue. It is not a fun surgery, though.
There are not many units that are easy to draw anymore if they have accessible public land. There are some units around Casper that you can draw about every other year that have decent access.
Some areas (like 25) appear to have good amounts of public land but much of it is inaccessible...
