I just booked a last minute spot and stalk bear hunt in Alberta for a few weeks from now. I’ll be flying from SLC to Edmonton. From what I gather I just have to declare it and pay a fee when entering Canada. Is there anything I should be aware of outside the normal rules when flying with a firearm?

I bought this rifle from a buddy a few years ago to set up for my little brother. I never ended up doing anything with it and it’s sat in the safe since. The rifle has about 60 rounds through it, and is in very good condition. There’s no major blemishes anywhere on the stock or barrel. $400
