We've left elk overnight a dozen times during the Sept. bow hunts in southern NM and have never had one ruin. Find them at first light and in a freezer by noon. Even when we've had trouble finding them and didn't get the meat out until late afternoon, it was good. Maybe we've been really lucky?!

This is my son's first buck. We looked over several smaller bucks before finally finding this guy. This hunt was a blast...everything we had heard about. We saw 50-100 doe and yearling bucks a day.

We've been killing the bass (mostly large mouth, but several really nice small mouth) at Santa Rosa lake for the past 2 weeks. On Friday, we caught about 40 between the 3 of us. A couple pushing 3-4 pounds.

Been using the WB for 2 years now and don't have a problem with the vanes. I nick them up from tight groups long before the WB tears them up. Can't say much about the friction argument, other than I could care less. John F.

Stickslinger, this bull was taken in 16B. We've hunted this area for 10 years now and I have never seen a bull quite like this. After my brother stuck him, he gave us a pretty good look at the left antler, we were really hoping that the right side was the same.... A great bull anyway.

I shot and field dressed a bull 10 yards from a tank in the Gila last year. For the next 3 evenings, we saw several cows and bulls step over the carcass to get to water. They didn't even put their noses down to smell.

YES: Got this guy with a muzzleloader on public land in N.M. about 3 years ago. Knowing the area well and being patient enough to pass up smaller bucks pays off!
