There was a group spotted right off the highway. They posted pics on the facebook page New Mexico Avid Hunters. Hopefully that might add some motivation.

Thanks for the kind words everyone. The meat tastes like beef and is really good. I do however like corn feed venison from unit 36, thanks to all the vacation homes in ruidoso :D

I don't know the ranch but 32 is a good unit and G&F is good about putting rifle hunters on good ranches for antelope. There are been posts of ranchers restricting draw hunters to "poor" pastures, so read up on the A-plus rules in the proclamation to make sure they are living up to agreement...

I just noticed this. I doubt that much will come of it but I do see it as a way to keep the pressure on G&F for those of us who are unhappy with the way LO tags are distributed. I had not heard of it until now and it seems it will be heard in House Energy, Environment, and Natural Resources...
