Here is a picture my son took after a difficult 10-day Alaska hunt. Eastmans had NOTHING to do with this hunt and NONE of the equipment was purchased at Sportsman's Guide ( whatever that is)...it was all KUIU gear. Not sure what the legalities of the situation are but at the very least it's...

this elk scored 390 net ( hasnt dried the required time for official score but I bet it's pretty close) free-range bull shot outside of the elk management core in a "marginal" unit. Sept 2012
I also posted this on predatormasters.com because I need help. My son shot this lion with the same .204 that later in the day I used to miss a bobcat (4 times) and a coyote. So far all I can come up with is the standard (lame) "you must have knocked the scope out of adjustment" excuse. Any more...
As usual we had a great time on the VV. My 15 year-old son called in this bull for me, easy shot, went 30 yards and fell. This is 8:30 the first morning, by then we had already passed 4-5 bulls and had 12-15 other bulls bugling around us. A great hunt and even greater spending time with my...
This is my sons 3rd coues buck but first with a bow. Great fun, this buck was chasing a doe and wouldn't stop no matter how loud we grunted (we were almost yelling). Finally he made a big circle around our blind and stopped at 20 yards, barely made it 15 yards after the shot.
As you can...
Here is the buck my son shot this weekend with his muzzleloader. We stalked/belly crawled for about an hour and Matt made a nice one-shot kill. Great fun, we saw lots of nice bucks.
Here is a buck I shot on the eastern plains of Colorado. Glassed him from a long distance and after a 2 hour stalk shot him at 250 yards in his bed with my .270 and Barnes 130 grain TSX.
This was a guided hunt with Comanche Wilderness Outfitters, here is the guide Scott Kipp with the buck...
Here are a couple of pictures of my son's New Mexico Oryx. He shot it at 215 yards with a 25 mile cross wind. 300 win mag, barnes 180 grain tsx. One day before his 14th birthday....nice present.
A couple of days after returning from an Idaho Moose hunt (see "rookie moose success" on the moose forum) I shot this 375 gross bull. Lucky year, still have deer and oryx to go.
My neighbor and I drew the 2 non-resident tags for this Idaho unit. We left the high desert mountains of New Mexico and headed north not knowing what to expect, this was our first moose hunt. I can't believe how thick the forest is in that country! We ended up voice calling them in, my 45" bull...
This is my wife's first animal of any kind. She made a nice shot with her muzzleloader after we cow-called the bull to around 40 yards. As you can tell it was a great family adventure, thanks for looking, God bless. Mike
I posted this on the antelope forum as well. Not his first antelope but it's his first muzzleloader kill. Matt (11 year-old) made a nice clean 90 yard shot. With 100 grains 777 (2 pellets) and a 250 grain barnes expander he had been shooting 1 inch groups at 100 yards. I initially thought he...
