Thanks Don for your efforts here. Transplanting seems like a much more reasonable solution, especially if they are looking for a "humane approach". If cost is a concern, the assistance of some dedicated sportsman and volunteers would keep this to a minimum.

I think NUNYA may have a valid point. I just re-read post number 14 and it sounds pretty easy to me. Something is not adding up? Slam, it sounds like your scouting is right on schedule from what I experienced.

It does happen fireman, no doubt. I guess it is just like anything else, anything to make a buck. I spent 3 straight years down there hunting and helping and it is amazing what you see and hear. After that time I could probably build my own resume, but I doubt I could put in the work required...

ktc, that is a good story and you got to admire the guys honesty. Usually you get someone who was along for the ride running off the mountain wanting to start a guide service because of their superior elk skills. :-)

I would second what Packout and cowslayer have said. I have hunted with him once and helped out someone who drew one of his CWMU hunts. He takes care of his clients and runs a very repectable operation. Integrity will not be an issue.

I hope she doesn't throw a belly roll at that cowboy. It looks like he forgot his spurs and I would hate to see him get lawn darted into the buffet table.

Congrats Moosie on a great bull. One of the 6 bulls you were glassing in the lower photo was probably the one in my living room. I don't think you would have gotten much meat from that one. Still waiting for the next dance video. :-)
