Wild, but a Beaver elk tag sold for $180,000 at a mule deer foundation banquet last night. That’s an absurd amount for that tag. Must be a specific bull there someone really wants.

I keep up pretty decent on the legislature. The wildlife board approved permit/fee increases for licenses and permits a month or two ago. The legislature has to approve it too before the prices actually change, does anyone know if this has been approved yet?

Haven’t seen an official announcement on the DWR’s website yet, but this is a Salt Lake Tribune reporter and I’m guessing the DWR sent out the announcement to the press. Effective immediately through April 30 according to this reporter, I’m sure an announcement is coming soon:
