North side has less traffic than the South side. Very little glassing spots, most bucks I have seen are up top. Drive the roads. Not sure if the pressure from the archery hunters push the deer off the edges into the really thick stuff. Was there last week and saw some great 180" bucks.

I shot a mule deer doe at 88 yards and dropped her right in her tracks. ( heart shot not spine). Plenty of kinetic energy with today's bows. Shot her with a Wac em broad head.

That sounds about right, I thought my limbs were maxed out from the shop at 80#'s, but when I had them measure it, they told me only 77#'s. The bow is a Hoyt Katera and I think I've had it for 3-4 years now. Wondering if the limbs kinda let up over the years. I will go home tonight and see if...
