Anyone willing to point me in an area for bears. My son wants one bad he’s 11 I’ve shot 2 so I’m good.
 
I would be surprised if anyone is willing to give you a specific spot for bears in Idaho.
As a general rule the central and northern part of the state have the highest concentrations. Just pick a unit and go enjoy some time in the mountains.
This will give you a general idea of units that have more bears.
 
Island park area has a good number of bears. That’s where I spend a lot of time. Be prepared for grizzlies, though. There’s many logging roads and trails. I generally find them away from these more often. In the fall concentrate around an area with a good amount of choke cherry shrubs. PM me with further questions.
