Rectangular for the shoulder room.I've used a Mummy bag for 27 years now......looking into a rectangular bag. What do you use and why?
When I backpack hunt--mummy. When I'm camping in a tent/trailer, big-ass flannel-lined canvas bag that weighs about 15 lbs. Roomy and toasty!
Pretty sure, after a few face to face meetings, that there is nothing trustworthy about Jerry WigetowWiggy’s out of Grand Junction.
For sure the rectangular.
Careful however, when I called and placed my order I made the comment that I felt sleep bag companies over stated their low temperature ratings. The old rascal was a little put off and guarandamntee me his where accurate and sent me a bag I can’t sleep in unless it’s 25 below zero. I literally can not use it. Paid nearly $300 for it and at zero it is absolutely miserable, it’s so hot.
I’ve sleot in it three times. Never again……. unless it’s subzero by 10 to 15 degrees.
I’d sell it for a third what I paid.
If you abuy a Wiggy bag, trust the temperature rating…….

Do the quilts have zippers? I read a little about them last night and see that they have a bottom "pad" that you lay on. Do most come with a built in pad or are you utilizing your own sleeping pad?Enlightened equipment quilt. Been using that guys stuff since he was making them in his living room with his mom and selling them on backpacking forums. Best bags out there . He’s grown big time

I use the open back ones and my sleeping pad. Have been for years down to sub freezing temps. The concept is compressed insulation is really no insulation. I’ve found them to be as warm as any bag I’ve used. admittedly I do sleep warm, but still, 4 degrees is 4 degrees.Do the quilts have zippers?
