Yes, sweet and salty would be a good description. Peaches are a big cooking item down South in the Summer where I grew up. Use them for everything. Some people like a bunch of cinnamon with them too. I like to cook off the bourbon for a minute or two to burn off the alcohol, but keep the aroma and flavor. I grill my peaches to get a little sear and soften the halves, slice one or two and mix with a little butter, brown sugar, bourbon, add fruit. and cook until they soften a bit. Keep two of the halves on the plate to put extra liquid in, like a bowl!
