I would not blame anyone for not believing this story. Back in the 80's, when I was in high school, I was coming home from a weekend deer hunt with my dad (we were returning from deer hunting near Park Valley Utah). It must have been a good year for two points because I saw deer in the back of several trucks.
As we were coming into Hyrum, a red corvette passes us, coming the opposite way. There was a 2 point strapped to its hood.
I guess it's a Utah thing

If rough bolting a license plate to hood of a late model sports car is your thing, strapping a foam deer to the roof wouldn’t phase you in the least.
