Early hunt maybe, but one of the late hunts no way! They still do not give out very many tags for most of the good late hunts. Even if they do double, triple or even go up five times they will not be as crowded as alot of other states hunts.

Been there a few times 3rd season in the last 6 or 7 years and I would not waste my $$ on an Elk tag, saw very few cows and no Bulls. And with the point creep for Deer we are starting to look for a new area where we can find decent Elk hunting and hunt Deer more than every 3 or 4 years.

I too think Nevada already does a pretty good job with what they have considering it is the most arid state in the country. Don't change a thing.

I have found that some guys will say no way to a point system no matter what the set-up is. I agree with you and for years have been saying that we could get all the money needed from a non-resident point system to finally start managing our herds and cutting tags where they need to be cut.

Just a quick ?, It's not on a JR Mentored lic. and tag is it? Because if it is an adult would have to accompany the youth and have a tag for the same area and season so that would narrow your choice down quite a bit.
