I would agree that it was a tougher hunt. I hunted 34 during the muzzy hunt. Morning one seemed like things would be hot and heavy. I hiked into a little tucked away canyon before daylight. A spot the historically holds a few decent Bulls. Sure enough, at daylight three Bulls start full on...

I have hunted cranes a lot. Never there though. They are the toughest bird of all to affectively decoy. It is a blast when it works though! It is like shooting a pterodactyl out of the sky. They are great to eat as well.

Dang it man! Great job! you guys have definitely made a hand this season! I can only imagine the amount of meat you guys have acumulated this season. One elk is proving to be a load for me.

That used to be correct. With the season pushed back so far in Oct., that isn't so much the case now.

Correct, except that it isn't good in archery season. I am looking for specifically for an archery tag.
