Do any of yall know why people are angry about this picture?

For real, let's boil it down to the root of it.

Let's see what yall actually know about your fellow human.

Here's one dead. No tape. No beer and actually a hunting pic.

Go ahead and take a stab at why they are angry about this pic.

Treating wild things with Dignity is a non-negotiable as far as I’m concerned. Any other attitude toward wildlife disqualifies someone from the term Sportsman, Conservationist, or any representation of the hunting/fishing community, IMO.

Regardless of the political battle over wolves, they are still due respect from us.

The fact that a wolf looks a lot like the family dog doesn't help and the wolf is obviously under stress which makes it even worse. I still think the guy should be kicked in the nuts and held up for a photo with his mouth taped shut.

Well.

In this country, polling says hunting for food is supported by the citizenry.

So, if I had to guess, it's because the shooter ain't eating a whole Giraffe, in fact, he's most likely bringing none of it home, which means he paid a lot of money to shoot a giraffe, which people consider trophy/sport hunting, which isn't widely accepted in this country.

Now.

Why were "they" so angry at you causing you to pull this beauty down?

I don't think a lot of people care about the particular species, just that it is utilized properly. Shooting old rogue bull giraffes is as difficult and sporting as it gets. My friend in Namibia offered me one as a favor to him, protection to the younger breeding males, hourly wages to the 12-15 workers who helped recover/skin/tan the animal. At 3500-3800#, it provided almost one ton of meat to the people living on the farm!!!

How does it taste?!

For the new guys.

This is a sheep illegally killed on the Nebo.

There was lots of rumors about it.

In the greatest post on MM ever, Tristate in his hurry to make some point about his knowledge of "his good friend" Wade Lemons prowess as a guide, posted this pic with the title BLAAAAAMMMM!!

Problem is, the guy posted a pic of this sheep, which was guided by Wade Lemon, on a closed unit. Local guys then had photographic proof of the location so there was no doubt, it was closed.

Long story short, Wade Lemon got drug into the DWR, the media posted all about it.

Then, suddenly one day, the thread, with this post made by Tristate that had this pic, was taken down.

To this day he won't tell us who got so mad at him they forced him to pull it down.
Sooooooo.

Anytime Tri starts one of his posts about "mad at", or Wade Lemon, or really anytime, someone always asks him.

Tristate.

Who was so mad they made you take this down?

The marrow and shanks were simply amazing We roasted them on the braii (BBQ) in a cast iron pan, and it was like sweet spiced butter on fresh bread! I have eaten finger steaks and spicy dips from my elephant, and ox tails from our Cape Buffalo My hunting partner is very picky about his meals, and never complained once on everything we have had on any safari The pride they take in fixing food for clients is truly amazing!!!

I've said this before but the cruelest thing you can do to a wolf is put it in a situation where it comes in conflict with people and gets killed. I highly suspect that most wolf lovers just love the conflict and not the wolf.

Blank, that sounds like heaven on a plate…

It seems some of the angrier people on these forums know the answer and are already trying to hijack this thread.

Is there a logical reason for this picture to make people angry?

I couldn't think of a logical reason for a pic of a stripper, with a nice sheep, and a Texas flag gun, would make anyone angry.

Tri, who got angry at you?

Well said, I agree with your opinion

See how angry some of yall are already acting.

Do any of yall ever wonder why yall get this angry at people?

Have you recognized a pattern yet?

There is No way that this animal is Alive in that picture.

No wild animal would hold still for a picture.

This guy did make a bad decision.

Hunter's should Not be held accountable for his bad decision.

So the dumbass took the "dead" wolf out back and re-killed it?

Rumor has it there's video of this entire chit-show as well.

That's actually an angle I've never considered.

Ive thought about it during dinner.

I think you may have a point with a sizeable population.

Good job👍

He's shooting semi tame deer on a tag that gives him exclusive rights to the island for a week before the other tag holder gets a chance.
So people doing totally legal things that don't effect you makes you angry??????

I'm pretty sure there is one adjective in that picture that makes you really lolly angry.

No. People with the same tag being denied the same OPPURTUNITY.

What's the difference in the 2 tags on that island?

Hey Hossy!

Usually Somewhere Between 375K & 500K!
Nailed it.

Sounds like half a million things that don't effect him at all.

People he doesn't know doing something totally legal without him present makes him angry. Sounds normal.🙄

[/QUOTE

Other than I can't access the south end of the island during Jimmy Johns hunt, nor, can I, or any other citizen get keys to the south end gate?

Oh,that's right, your out ahead of your skis, again.

I Wanna Know How Much Money The Public Hunter Was Paid To Stay Home For A Couple Days & Claim He Didn't Know He Drew The Tag?

So to summarize. The reason folks are pissed at a jackwagon who ran down a wolf, taped its mouth shut, snapped pics, then went out back and killed it,

Is jealousy?

Nice job Matlock
Never said that and you weren't talking about the woof. You were talking about why you hate a deer hunter you don't know and have nothing to do with.

Look how the anger makes you loose track of thoughts.

Does this make you angry?

Please list the reasons why and be honest.

I remember when my neck of the woods used to have lots of badgers and porcupines. Now I hardly ever see one, and I miss that. I support consumptive use until the resource is over-exploited. Since badgers are no problem in my area, I would hate to see one wasted. Angry? No. Sad, perhaps.

One is at one time and is auctioned. The other is drawn and set for another time.

Guess what that's different.

Auctioning has nothing to do with the tag.

Again, because as usual you are clueless.

The license has the name of the holder and info such as their customer id#, physical description.

Also says Antelope Island Any Weapon.

Even has the LE price.

Similar for the tag only it has sex, and date notches.

No. You posted a set of pics. I responded to your questions on each. And you, concluded with "jealous".

You used the word "hate". I didn't address a pic of a single person with anything. I, simply described why in each instance the public at large doesn't like the conditions in the photo. Including non matching camo you're wearing.

I played your game, answered questions.

Who made you take down the BLAAAMM pic?

@Tikka, this is one of those instances where it's just entertainment. He's trying soooo hard

I think the state of Utah disagrees with you and lucky for all of us they decide.

Yes. On one of your responses you revealed you were jealous.

So do you have a non emotional reason for being angry at all these people you don't even know?

Has anyone figured out why so many people get angry when seeing these pictures????

Someone here must have an idea.

I think the state of Utah disagrees with you and lucky for all of us they decide.

They do.

That's why that tag is an LE deer tag.

Same as every LE deer tag. The state gets the same amount from it, as they do every other LE tag.

Consider the animal's expression. We have all seen this in our own dogs. This wolf is avoiding eye contact, which leads us to recognize that it is defeated, and with tape around its mouth it is also helpless. But the animal's expression is only half of it. The other incriminating aspect is the satisfaction that dipshit seems to take in his achievement, combined with the apparent interest in publicizing his behavior to what he probably expects to be a crowd of approving admirers among the hunting community. That he finds humor in, and expects adulation for, his behavior is a turn-off to most of us. It appears that it is the act of killing rather than the pursuit that he finds appealing. This is the sort of guy that would swerve to hit a squirrel rather than to avoid one. How many of us think like that?

There are rules to the game. Many of us still support the adage that you don't kick someone when they are down. We may not get as many clicks as those who do when we post our dead animals (eye roll), but those are the principles that guide our conscience.

Finally, as an analogy: I would be content to sit inside my house and shoot intruders breaking down my door all day long. That is fair play. But I would never want to execute a man who poses no threat, and I expect most of us would feel the same way. At the very least, when a man is executed, it is because he had the capacity to understand his mistakes and failed to control himself. The wolf is just being a wolf and, while it is OK to kill them, it is disrespectful to make a scene of it as if they were deserving of some special place in Hell.

Bullskin,

Thanks for your reply. It appears to be a well thought out reply.

I don't understand why one would equate the burglar to the wolf. Many factors come into the equation then. Lethality of burglars compared to wolves and the home location itself come to mind. Plus the fact that one is a human and the other an animal will always prevent that from being an effective analogy.

Last I do not understand the repeated reference to "respect" of animals we kill. I don't have respect animal's. I may admire their attributes and value them but I am killing them, for all types of reasons. Even for money. Respect never enters the picture.

When you have no self-respect or awareness, like you every time you look in the mirror, then I can fully understand why you have no respect for anything else.

Don't misquote me Buzzh. That is tangent to lying.

I don't respect animals.

I have no problem with killing most animals--and I have also killed them for money. In this case, it is the "all about me" attitude displayed--where everything else is subservient to one's own ego--that I object to. That he derives pleasure from unnecessarily inflicting misery says a lot about this man's sense of entitlement.

Lots of assumptions just from seeing a picture.

Maybe the video with clear up some facts that tri-troll seems unable to grasp.

I have never argued that the person didn't bring a taped wolf into a bar.

I have however argued that this doesn't mean he is a sociopath, nor does he deserve violent acts, nor do we need more laws in our lives because of this.

I almost forgot, it has nothing to do with hunting.

You asked why the photo upsets people. Clearly, that boils down to how we interpret the image. My interpretation is based on assumptions, as is yours, since we cannot enter the minds of the wolf or the man.

I would be willing to make a bet that I've had my hands on more dead animals than anyone on this site...anyone.
Not kidding.
45 years,as a butcher.
I've killed wolves, Grizzlies, Lions..blah...blah.
I've trapped, hunted, butchered, slaughtered.
I've never enjoyed seeing animals suffer.
Some of you are much badder asss than me.
Call me a *****.

Actually mine wasn't based off any assumptions.

Tri, as a hunter or any degree of sportsman, if you’re not bothered by this despicable act, in my mind you're as big of a POS as the clown that pulled this stunt.
And there's the problem. I'm not willing to start calling people a POS just because he doesn't agree with how I myself define the level of depravity "ASSUMED " from a photo.

I'm not going to call you a POS over a stupid internet disagreement. THAT IS HOW ANTIS WIN THIS WAR.

What is assumed by the photo? There is video proof now!
