i would check to see if your rest was paper tuned,but i would also get rid of the whisker biscuit.i used one for two years and always they did the same thing.try using the qad pro rest and have your bow paper tuned before you start sighting it in and you will be very happy with the change i did...

in ca,they have a system where you need to have your big game animal signed off,this will stop people from being able to harvest an animal outside the regular assigned season,rather than just fill out the harvest report! it might work out better!

if i were you, i'd contact hoyt themselves and talk to their technicians.they can tell you about distance from your chronographer and proper weights to shoot,good luck.

i completely agree with your views yelum! i just hate to see one knucklehead in a gloryshot photo,screwup the whole picture for those of us who do prefer shooting out to ethical limits.theres always gonna be one of him no matter what forum we choose to go to.

i was in colorado elk hunting,i saw these two older hunters using the cheap blue style tarp on their tent,the next day they used it to drag a cow elk across the snow.they were able to slide the elk easily down the mountain .it was a great idea,and now we pack one with us also

have any of you been sucessful yet or out getting ready for elk and muleys? i am going the 19th myself....

im in 5a this year with archery tags.it is my first time to hunt there,i was wondering about the rutt activity and if it is resident elk or migrating herds there this time of year...i was scouting last month and we got to see several nice bucks also this is a nice area for muleys it seems

i hope we start to get colder soon there,i will be in 5a towards the end of the archery season i cant wait good luck everyone...
