The platte has great trout fishing, there are several river access points along the way that you could fish. But the best without a drift boat are Grey Reef, or The mile. There is also good trout and walleye fishing in the resivours too.

I prefer Dans Meat processing in Evansville. They are on Curtis street. Very fast and efficient, and quality cutting. Never found any silver skin left on the meat like I have with other processors. The cut up two elk and had the meat back to me in less than a week.

I've spent sometime a little east of where your talking. Last season population looked better than before with a boost in younger deer. Hopefully with this being year three there mright be a few more in the 41/2 year range. But it's still nowhere it used to be 10 years ago.

63 can be a good hunt, I used to hunt it for 5 or 6 years. I even killed a book head from there, but since they came out with type 2 tags I believe it has been hammered on. There is still lots of antelope, but I believe it's overcrowded now.
