I love the comfort of a SxS but its a pain to trailer. I am leaning towards a quad in the back of the truck. Since I am solo anyway. That way if it gets sticky I can just wait it out to dry up but still should be able to get around and hunt. I might be over thinking it. I just haven't been...

Get rid of Rangefinders. Hurts everyone the same. Lots of hero archers wont be so good and long range rifle guys will be missing by yards.

RE: T minus 4 or - days That Email just saved me. I have applied for years and used the same card. I had some card issues thanks to some dirt squirrels and had to cancel my card. Used my new card to apply like always. Just checked and my old card was my default.

My wife has a tag and I have made a few scouting trips. Seen a few deer. I have hunted a lot of different states and I know deer come in all sizes. I don't want to over judge them so how big are the ears in this neck of the woods? How would you compare them to say Northern Utah/Southern Idaho?

What cover are any of you using on this scope. Would like to find something similar to the Kings swaro model. Or does the kings swaro model fit? Anyone try it.

I am going to buy a new pair of 10x42 and I have saved the money to buy any of them. I have looked and I do think the Swaro's are better glass. But my financial brain is having a hard time with the price. So the question is do you really feel the better glass is worth 2x the price.

If you were looking to hire an outfitter to hunt elk who would you suggest? Looking for 340+ type bulls. Any area.

All this long range archery, Muzzy and Rifle can all be stopped with the outlawing of the rangefinder. Problem solved. Its getting out of hand were guys can sit in a drainage and shoot 1500yds in all directions. All these experts would not be so good if they had to actually guess the yardage.

Inside main beam. It says to measure at the widest point. Question is if the antlers lets say are "V" shaped "mains flare out" do you take the tip to tip as inside main beam as it is the widest point of the main beams or do you center across the 4ths area.

Since your not finding any big bucks Go to the Elk 32 unit and tie a decent bull up for me please. I am to far to scout so will be heading out in sept with my bow for a couple weeks to give it a try. I hope to see a few good bulls(330 and up are great bulls to me.) Hope there is one out there...

According to the specs it says 60 degree. Don't have one so don't really know.
