Just trying to figure out the random draw process. If you have 0 points do you basically have 1 chance in the hat and if you have 8 points do you have 8 chances? Or is it everybody has one chance in the hat? Thanks for the help.

Looking at maybe going on a DIY hunt in Montana. I have never shot a deer but I want to shoot one thats descent size. I'm primarily looking at the south east corner in the longpines. Anyone familiar with this area and deer potential, hunter numbers? Thanks for the help.
