I used to go to Texas in December along time ago and I told the guys that if I caught one 3lbs or better I’d mount it I was really close and well maybe over that marked but then I thought I don’t need a fish on the wall

Wow! Best eating landlocked fish out there. Fixing to do a crappie fry this weekend to celebrate my son coming home from japan going to be stationed in texas.

I don't know anything about Crappie fishing other than the fact I had a lot of crappie fishing last summer.

Those are big crappie. This one my bride caught at Roosevelt is bigger than most in AZ's lakes. I can't recall the exact weight but it was two pounds plus.
