Accented nicely with elk stock
Had to be to keep from spillin'must be thick......
lol....."sear meat and pull out" reminds me of high school....It’s not too thick, definitely soup not stew
top sirloin stew meat
2 cups diced onion
1 cup diced carrot
1cup diced celery
1lb shrooms
3 cloves garlic
6 cups elk stock
3/4 cup barley
Dried thyme
sear meat, pull out. Sweat onion, carrot and celery for a few minutes. Add shrooms and cook for a couple minutes. Add your stock, thyme and barley. Simmer lid on for 2 hours
