Thru rain and fog... my Vortex Vipers 12X were able to let me know this was no stick or branch! My Vipers also let me know that this wasnt a stump through all the blow down and trees! Sometimes you almost regret having such nice glass as Vortex! Here I am with a pair of Diamondbacks 10x42...

I was up there last week and seen tracks by Lower Sheep Creek and by the lookout!!!

I am positive. They (Umatillas)cannot rifle hunt for the bulls from Aug 24-Oct 15.

Maybe I am just speaking for the local tribe, but they are not to use rifles during Aug-Sep. for bulls.

The Robinette, Rainwater are is a draw area for the Umatilla Indians. Just an FYI. That year the bulls were killed, it wasn't the Umatilla's, rumor spread to Oregon, and then they posted the sign to stop hunting there.
