Drew the November muzzy tag. Anyone ever hunted it? I’m a non-resident , so this will probably be the only time I hunt it. I don’t live super far away, so i may be able to make a couple trips. Looking forward to a fun hunt, and thanks for any help.

Hey guys/gals My daughter has a type 3 (whitetail) tag for this area south of Cody. I’ve never been up there before, just wondering how the roads are in the unit? I have a sidexside , is it necessary or worth dragging it over there? Or is a truck, small suv just fine? Anyone from the Cody area?

Has anyone checked out the zeiss conquest Gavia spotters? Seems like they could be a decent value.

Only in California would they encourage people to purchase deer tags and apply for the draw, before the draw booklet (big game digest) is even released. This state is a continual joke.

Hey Oregon guys. I'm thinking about getting out of the points game in Oregon by putting in for High Desert Elk. Anyone ever hunted this hunt? Looks like there are 2 seasons. The harvest stats are close to the same. Would you do the first season, or the second season? Thanks for any advice.

It's been a pretty cold & wet winter where I'm at so far. I've heard the northern states are getting pounded. It's supposed to be -23 in Baggs tommorow night.....I'm getting worried about a significant winter kill in Wyoming. How does it look back there?

I see in the 2015 regs, a new muzzleloader hunt on the Chetco unit. Any of you guys hunt up that way? What are your thoughts on this hunt? Will it be any good? Where do the deer winter in there? I've just driven through on 199, and the old Biscut fire looks like decent hunting.

Why is it that in Gunsmith (and Taxidermist) language, "2 weeks" really means 3 months? "3 months" really means 6 months?
