I don't think that choosing what unit you want to go hunt is being selfish. Everybody can choose the unit they want to hunt and everybody can choose to hunt the same unit you do. The selfish part is when somebody thinks they deserve a tag more often than what they should statistically draw it...

If I had to sum up my thoughts on my .300 UM it would be almost word for word what lip_curl said. Muzzle break is a must; the extra noise is worth taking that much kick out of it. Great shooting rifle! Find the combo that your gun likes and start shootin'.
