Since it hasn't been posted on this thread... in Utah, disarming a police officer is a first degree felony punishable by 5 years to life in prison... so yeah, it's kind of a big deal.

I'm hearing there was roughly a 25% die off this winter. Not catastrophic, but not good. Mountain goats are resilient. I'm hopeful most of the ones in their prime survived.

Arizona's new online system is pretty good. Not as good as some others but better then they were a few years ago on their last online attempt. I haven't had any issues at all with it.

You can't buy them "over the counter" as in unlimited tag numbers, however, there are a few type 9 tags that go undersubscribed and you can buy them when they go on sale (I think in July). Or, picking up a leftover rifle tag allows you to hunt the archery season as long as there is no archery...
