There is a link on the web page I had posted to the YouTube sight that shows a demo on how to use the call thus showing the sound it makes, when used properly... like I said I could not make it sound as good as demonstrated in the video so mileage may vary depending on the person behind it...

What unit? I took my youngest son out for his first deer hunt in 17A and he took a little 2x3. I'll post pics soon as well.

I'll be up there as well for my son's and nephew's hunt. You can't go hunting anywhere in between Clint's Well and Mormon Lake. I would suggest not hunting in the popular spots, i.e Buck Mtn., Apache Maid, Stoneman Lake & Mormon Lake areas. The elk are pretty spread out now after the archery...

Hunt north of FR300 between the fire tower and Black Canyon Lake. There are a few springs in the cuts in the burn area that the bulls like to wallow in.

I have the same tag and my method is spot & stock (chasing bugles) early morning then sit on a tank in the afternoon/evening. You may want to buy a ground blind and practice shooting out of it for sitting water or trails. If you are not picky you should go home with meat! I'll be scouting all...
