Another question I have for anyone with experience is what are your thoughts on 8x vs 10x? I have heard of some of the diff benefits for each but was looking for people who have used or compared the two. I have always used 10x but am strongly considering 8x.

So is that the main diff in the two in a visual sense, the ed3 does not stay as clear as far to the edge as the prime? I assume that in the center they are equal. In your guys opinion does that make a big diff in a hunting situation? Does the prime perform better in low light than the ed3? I...

Bocephus im in the exact same boat as you are. It would be the first time that i would not be able to chase deer if i cant pull a tag, what a shame. I do contribute it to the shortened rifle hunts as well and the popularity of archery hunting now days. Oh well just keeps getting worse it...

I dont have any pictures, I know the guy who found it and just thought it was worth a shot to try and locate the hunter, sorry about the non-pics. My understanding is if he can prove that he shot the bull and did not tag out he can recover the antlers.

I just wanted to tell all who responded thanks. I think from this post we have found the guy who shot this bull all the details match, now he just has to do what is neccessary to recover his bull. I hope the rest of the story turns out for him, hate to see a guy lose an animal with any kind...

Does anyone know of someone who hit and did not find a bull on the archery hunt on the monroe.

I agree with marley on the burris scope. I have tried others only to be disappointed. I was able to pick mine up at kents shooters in ogden for $189.00, im not sure if they still have them but I would give it a try. GREAT SCOPE!
