Even though the "pretty elk" pictures are nice to frame and show off, I do enjoy the "ugly" pictures. Its more of an accurate representation of how the hunt was. Like the elk in the ditch, whenever you see that picture you're going to remember the trouble you had gutting and packing him out...

Nothing this year, was only able to go out a couple times this year because I'm in university now, warm and really slow. Didnt see much action. I'll be going out in the bow season, so hopefully by then they'll be moving around alot more

Yes, forgot about that gun. Haven't had any experience with that particular gun, but I've heard nothing but good things about it. Easy to maintain, reliable and a reasonably priced gun at that. Another good choice.

I would look into Spyder paintball guns as well. I own one, and it is good quality. You can spend as much, or as little as you want on them as well. The Spyder Xtra is a good beginning gun to have. As long as you clean them after every outing, these guns will last for a long time.

Dont know how the outfitter is, but I know where they hunt, and there is alot of game. Heard they got some new cabins up there, and they are supposedly really nice. Be ready to hike though, lots of nice big slides, but some are pretty tough to access.
